Jus Us - TT Lover (1991)

Very obscure, very rare, most DJs probably don't even know this track, unless you spent a lot of time in famous New York City record stores like Vinyl mania, Dancetracks, Decadance, Downstairs, or any of the other stores in Manhattan selling underground dance music. This mellow deep house gem didn't particularly stand out as hard hitting or floor packing, still it worked in a deep house set quite well. After listening it today, with its girl talking vocals and piano laden beats, it actually might even sound BETTER today than back then when I loved playing it. It's really for a person with sophisticated taste in dance music (sorry Lady Gaga fans). Still, it has a somewhat commercial lean to it , yet is quite underground to it's core. I would envision a Corina or Judy Torres (ie freestyle) fan actually grooving to this song. One of only 5 releases on the label, produced by Cliff Saint-Cyr.
