Two Tons Of Fun - I Got The Feeling (1980)

Before The Weather Girls became international dance music stars thy were known as Two Tons Of Fun.The original Weather Girls were Martha Wash and Izora Armstead.They (as the Weather Girls) are best known for their 1982 #1 club and pop hit, "It's Raining Men", the recording of which music producer  Paul Jabara supervised. Though the mainstream pop market considers the team a one hit wonder, when they were known as  Two Tons O' Fun they recorded three songs which peaked high on the charts...peaking at #2 on the Billboard  Hot Dance/Club Play Chart was: "Earth Can Be Just Like Heaven" (1980); "Just Us" (1980)also made #29 on the US R&B chart); and the Hi- Energy classic song "I Got the Feeling" in 1981 stands out even more, despite not charting as high. With that spectacular Patrick Cowley San Francisco Hi-Energy sound, 'I Got The Feeling' still packs dancefloors. (though Cowley did not produce it.)
