Classic soulful underground hit from the king/queen of hi-energy...Sylvester. Big Paradise garage tune, most hi-energy Dj's were stuck on his 130 BPM songs like
'Dance (Disco Heat)' and
I (Who Have Nothing)... but this really cool funk almost pre house track was under the radar. Sure, a lot of DJ's played it of course, it was after all a pretty big record for him. I just wonder why it wasn't a bigger hit than it was. At 114 BPM, it had a fantastic early in the night groove, or even better- perfect for late late at night. Hence it's standing as a Paradise Garage tune. Did someone say Jeanie Tracy on the vocals ??
