Cosmic Gate is a German trance duo made up of Claus Terhoeven (born 1972, aka Nick Chagall ) and Stefan Bossems (born 1967, aka DJ Bossi). Formed in 1999, Cosmic Gate's first single was "Exploration of Space", followed by "The Drums' , also in 1999. A hard progressive house/techno track, this song sold well in the US as a import and was one of the more popular techno songs of the year.
