Man Parrish - Hip Hop, Be Bop (Don't Stop) (1982)

Man Parrish (born Manuel Joseph Parrish, May 6, 1958) is an American composer, songwriter vocalist and producer. He, along with artists such as Kraftwerk, Arthur Baker, Art Of Noise, Afrika Bambaataa , John Robie, Jellybean Benitez and Aldo Marin helped create and define the sound of B Boy Electro of the early 1980s. He became an underground music scene icon in the 1980s and 1990s and is one of the most important and influential figures in American electronic dance music.
His premier release was “Hip Hop Be Bop (Dont Stop) released in 1982. He eventually signed with Electra Records but was dropped from the label in 1984 when it decided not to release the album he had recorded for it.
