Liberty City - Some Lovin' (1992)

Some Lovin'" is a song credited to Murk vs. Kristine W. It has alternately been credited to "Murk featuring Kristine W" and (incorrectly) as just "Kristine W". It does not appear on any of Kristine's albums, as it was originally recorded for the Murk album Murk. The song "Some Lovin'" was originally recorded in 1992 by Liberty City (an alias used by Murk at the time) with vocals by Bebe Dozier.

The version of the song featuring vocals by Kristine W. was a hit on the American dance charts, peaking at number one on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart in January 2003. It also peaked at number 20 on the Billboard Hot Dance Airplay chart. "Some Lovin'" was remixed by a number of noted DJs, including Peter Rauhofer.
The music video for the song features Kristine as well as the main cast from the North American version of Queer As Folk in different settings from the show, including the Liberty Diner and Club Babylon. The video appears on the bonus disc of the DVD release of Queer As Folk: the Complete Third Season, although only Kristine is credited as the artist. In addition, the Rauhofer remix appears on the soundtrack to the third season of the show.
Produced by Oscar G and Ralph Falcon of Murk fame, and released initially on Murk Records Miami Florida USA, this deep house vocal classic , similar in style and sound to Fired Up by Funky Green Dogs,

has been a club standard since its release in 1992.
