Urban Soul is a house music studio project assembled by producer ,songwriter and vocalist Roland Clark. Urban Soul hit the Hot Dance Music Club Play chart seven times through the 1990s, including hitting #1 in 1997 with the track "Show Me." Other Urban Soul tracks feature vocals by Sandy B, Ceybil Jeffries and Troyetta Knox. In 1991 the group released its first 12", Alright, which became an instant deep house classic. Released on Chrysalis records in the US, the song was well recieved, well played, and well loved.
