Jamiroquai - Emergency On Planet Earth (1993)

"Emergency on Planet Earth" is a song by Jamiroquai. It is the title track for their 1993 album, Emergency on Planet Earth. The song was written by Jay Kay. It has a very environmentalist tone, urging the listener to "stop going on." It is the final single of Jamiroquai's first album and reached number 14 in the UK.

An alternate version of the song, with completely different bass track and intro, and some changes in the arrangements, was featured in the music video for the song. This version first appeared officially in a Jamiroquai album in their greatest-hits compilation High Times: Singles 1992–2006.
The US 12" release came on green vinyl with a ridiculously fantastic 10 1/2 minute Danny Tenaglia Remix.
