One of the main outlets for early Chicago house music was a club called the Music Box where the DJ was Ron Hardy .The song Donnie -- put together by Larry Heard, Robert Owens, and Chip E. (aka The It) -- came out in 1986 on DJ International Records. Very deep, with vocals by Robert owens, this classic Chicago house track always makes the lists of best Chicago house tracks of all time. With the people involved, its no wonder.
