Formed in London in 1971, Cymande played mostly funk and soul before disbanding in 1974. Releasing five albums, none hit big commercially. But the breakbeat/funk/disco classic Bra stands tall today as one of the best dance tracks ever. Re-made by Cleavage in 1986 and used as the basis of the Raze hit ' Jack the Groove' in 1987 , the song today remains popular and well known, even though most people probabbly have no clue just how old it is or where it came from.
