The classic Tantra "Double Album" would yield two underground club hits, the epic "Hills of Katmandu" and "Wishbone." . The whole album was genius: at the time it was new in stores i went out and found it as an Italian import. Now that record is hard to find. A collectors item no doubt. I at the time favored the track Mother Africa. It was raw, tribal, and like North African tribal disco. Thats the best way to describe it. It was spacey sounding (synthesisers) yet tribal.
One of the best dance records ever. And now a well known hi energy classic. Some prefer the Patrick Cowley extended mix, or the Hot tracks Mix. I'll take any version, always a pleasure to hear.
