Sybil Lynch (born June 2, 1965, New Jersey) is an American RnB/pop singer, more popularly known as Sybil.
Sybil has been recording since 1986 and is known for her covers of Dionne Warwick hits ' Don't make me Over " and "Walk on By", which were released in 1989 and 1990 respectively. They were both were Top 20 successes on the UK singles chart.Sybil is best known for the hit "When I'm Good and Ready" and her version of Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes ' The Love I Lost ( West End feat Sybil.)
In the mid eighties, she was huge for 3 songs which were big UK hits and NYC club favorites (not to mention the rest of the world
) My love is Guaranteed and Let yourself Go . This was her first big record. Huge slash massive in New York when it came out. if you didn't play it you might have well not DJed.
