Groundbreaking raw early house from Moonfou, who eventually became Kraze and became well known for the huge house anthem ' The Party'. Shut Up, released in 1987 on All Thats Art Records in the US (the labels one release) was a moderate very underground smash in NYC, most Dj's used the accapella, the beat was very raw. Which today is why the song stands out.....the track clearly wasn't written to be a 'bestseller'....its a key piece of house music nevertheless. A true progressive dance classic. Don't expect singing....thats the point. Very E.S.G or Liquid Liquid. Lady Gaga fans would gag. I'd be in heaven.
