"One Night in Heaven" is the first single released by the club music band M People from their second album Elegant Slumming. The song has been noted for its similarity to a UK top 20 chart hit from 1975, "Highwire", performed by Linda Carr. The song reached #1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart in the U.S. in 1994.
The song peaked at #6 on the UK Singles Chart.
The video for this single featured scenes from Barcelona, including Park Güell and the Sagrada Família, both designed by Antoni Gaudí.
