Kraze - The Party (1988)

From 1988, Kraze (formally called Moonfou with underground hit Shut Up) released their piano laden house smash The Party in 1988, around the time Paradise Garage closed its doors and New Yorkers were hungry for house music. The record sold well in DJ record stores and was a smash in London. Not quite hip house, it blended perfectly with the Todd Terry style beats DJs were gravitating for that year.
